At our three-day, two-night camp held at the stunning Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre, campers disconnect from screens and stress while reconnecting with nature, real friendships, and their own sense of purpose.

- What age group is this camp designed for?
The camp is designed for young people aged 10 to 16 years old. - Is the camp suitable for first-time campers?
Yes. Many of our participants are attending their first overnight camp. We create a welcoming, supportive environment with staff trained to help kids settle in and feel safe. - Do the boys and girls sleep in separate cabins?
Yes. Campers are separated by gender in different sleeping areas, with staff supervision nearby at all times. - Will there be qualified first aid staff on-site?
Yes. Our team includes first aid trained staff, and we have medical procedures in place for emergencies. - What happens if my child becomes homesick?
Our team is experienced in supporting homesick campers with gentle encouragement and inclusive activities. In more serious cases, we’ll contact parents if needed. - What if my child has food allergies or dietary needs?
We cater to a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and vegetarian. Just make sure to include these on your child’s registration form. - What is the staff-to-camper ratio?
We maintain a high level of supervision with a low staff-to-camper ratio, ensuring every child is supported, safe, and known by name. - Can siblings attend the camp together?
Yes. Siblings are welcome and can participate in the same group or separate groups based on their age and preference. - What should my child pack for the camp?
A full packing list will be provided after registration. Essentials include warm clothing, closed shoes, toiletries, a towel, a sleeping bag or bedding, a water bottle, and a hat. - Will there be supervision during all activities and overnight?
Yes. Campers are supervised 24/7, including during activities, meals, downtime, and overnight in the cabins. - Is there more than one wharf option for drop-off and pick-up?
Yes. Most campers will travel via Patonga Wharf, which is ideal for families coming from the Central Coast, Newcastle, and surrounding areas. For families coming from Sydney or arriving by train, we also offer a boat transfer from Brooklyn Wharf, located near Hawkesbury River Train Station. Please let us know your preferred wharf when booking so we can coordinate boat transfers accordingly. - What is your cancellation or refund policy?
We don’t offer refunds for change of mind, but we may be able to offer a credit toward future programs if given enough notice. Please contact us directly for more questions. - Can I contact my child during the camp?
As this is a device-free camp, direct contact is limited. However, our team is always contactable in case of emergencies or concerns. - Do you accept NSW Active Kids vouchers?
Yes, we do accept Active Kids vouchers. - Will I receive updates or photos during the camp?
We do our best to share photo highlights on our social media during the camp, though our main focus is ensuring your child is safe and fully immersed in the experience. - How can I be sure my child will be safe and supported?
We have a trusted team of trained facilitators, first aid officers, and experienced youth leaders who prioritise safety, inclusion, and wellbeing in every aspect of the camp.
