Celebrate school holidays at Kincumber High School, the perfect venue for our exciting Little Leaders programs! Located just a short distance from Avoca Beach and Terrigal, Kincumber High offers excellent facilities, including a spacious hall, well-maintained oval, and versatile indoor and outdoor spaces.
Camp Times:
Drop off: 8:30am
Pick up: 3:30pm
Drop off:
When arriving at Kincumber High School, please sign in at the appropriate table according to the child’s surname. e.g., A-D, E-H. Please drive into the school car park and walk your leader/s to the large blue tent/tables where we will quickly mark their names off before they walk into the hall.
Pick up:
Day 1: We cordially encourage all of our parents to enter the hall and pick up their children. There will be assigned groups for each child to sit in. Please make sure that the group team leader has signed out your child before you leave with them. We appreciate your patience in this process; however, the safety of our Little Leaders is our number one priority.
Day 2: On the conclusion of the colour run, all children will be sitting in their coloured groups on the oval. Parents must complete the same process as Day 1 and inform their child’s group leader, who will sign them off accordingly.
Medication:
All medication must be handed in to the medication officer, who will be located in the small blue tent. All medication must be labelled, and the parent/caregiver of the child’s medication must complete the ‘administration of the medication document, which will be provided by the medication officer.
Weather:
Rain or shine, these facilities keep our Little Leaders active and engaged as they explore new skills.

We are super excited for our upcoming camps, and we are really fortunate that Kincumber High School has a large hall, oval, and COLA (covered outdoor learning area), which will allow us to make the most of the program rain, hail, or shine.
Waterslide:
Weather dependent, we will be using the water slide on both days! Please have your child wear swimmers underneath their clothes to save time getting changed, and pack a towel and a change of clothes.
Lunch:
Lunch will be provided. However, we advise you to send your Little Leaders with a water bottle and enough snacks for the day. We will take into account any food allergies and preferences you have indicated on your waiver forms, but if there is anything else we should be aware of that you haven’t already told us, we urge you to come forward at once. If your child does not eat the food below, we do encourage you to pack them their preferred lunch.
Day 1: Pizza
Day 2: Sausage sizzle
This lunch day may alternate. Please contact Little Leaders about any concerns.
Selective fruit will be provided on both days.
Important information
The day will work by a rotation system. Each Little Leader will be assigned to a staff group leader and a group in their appropriate age range. Different activities will be offered for each age group. Please ensure enclosed shoes suitable for movement and running are worn on the day. It is advised to bring extra clothing in case the Little Leaders get a little messy during our games.
Colour run:
Day 2, our Little Leaders colour run will take place, so we invite parents to send their Little Leaders in white. Please keep in mind that your child can watch and encourage their friends from the sidelines if they don’t feel comfortable participating in a colour run. When picking up your child, please remember to bring a towel for the car. Shoes will come into contact with chalk. If you want your child to participate, please send them in shoes that you are comfortable with. The messy fun could result in potential stains.
Journals:
Anyone who is receiving a Little Leaders Wellness journal will receive their journal on day 1. Returning Little Leaders, please don’t forget to pack your journal.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Refund Policy:
Please note that all program purchases are non-refundable. However, if your child is unable to attend a camp for any reason, we’re happy to offer a credit for future programs. A $20 administrative fee will apply to process this credit. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming your Little Leader to a future camp experience!
Lost Property:
Please ensure that clothes are labelled so that we can ensure that they come home.
If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to an incredible camp with your Little Leaders!
